Apartment not cleaned
Liked: Location
Disliked: We arrived an hour after check-in time and the apartment had not been cleaned. When I called, the host gave long and unpleasant excuses, then promised a cleaner within two hours. After three hours we had heard nothing, so we went back to check ourselves. It had been cleaned by then, more than four hours after check-in and already dark, though there were still food leftovers in some cabinets. Very unpleasant start for the trip.

Excellent flat in a perfect location, minutes from Nowy Swiat yet adjacent to a beautiful park. Very beautiful views from this 10th story apartment, with sizable rooms and a wonderful enclosed balcony on the east side. A very comfortable stay in such a perfect location, this flat comes with a high recommendation.

Als ich in den achtziger Jahren zum ersten Mal in Warschau war, fiel mir dieses Gebäude schon auf. Wegen seiner markanten Form wird es 'Der Hammer' genannt. Es ist ein gutes Beispiel für die sozialistische Moderne, manche finden es brutalistisch. Ich habe mich jedenfalls sehr gefreut, in diesem Haus in der zehnten Etage wohnen zu dürfen. Der Ausblick nach Norden und nach Osten ist einmalig. Die Wohnung ist komplett neu renoviert und neu eingerichtet. Mit haben die Funktionalität und gleichzeitig die schönen Details wie die Holzstühle in der Küche oder ein paar Vintage-Sessel und -Tische gut gefallen.
